This chapter and the previous one has taken a slight side track from the main idea of God's Debris. In this chapter we are told that the brain can do some grate calculations without the person being "aware of the processes they are using". That is impressive since the brain is also a delusion generator. So this may mean that geniuses can come to delusions quicker than normal people.
Scott Adams must have been interested with ESP to have included two chapters on it. I think the topic moves away from the main thrust of the book (or maybe I am just more interested in the points about God, religion and world views). I side with the skeptics and the old man's reasoning on how psychics work things out.
